Leave Marrakech for a small Berber village in the High Atlas, where a local family guides you through Moroccan salad, tagine, and mint tea. With an English, French, or Arabic-speaking guide such as Taib or Abderrazak, you may also visit an argan cooperative, walk through villages, and enjoy a surprise camel ride. Expect a long, scenic day.

“Nice trip - and fairly easy going. Stop on outward trip where we were given a breakfast snack and tea, and to see women's argan/honey cooperative (options to buy stuff if you want). Then once at mountain destination there's a short walk across the valley to the cooking venue. Cooking the chicken tagine is pretty straight forward and while it simmers you spend time on the terrace with snack/tea taking in the awesome view - this really it a picture-perfect spot. You eat your own food, get some fruit/water an relax a little longer before retracing steps to mini van for trip home. Stop on way back for camel ride…”
