“The journey there and back is long however it is an excellent way to see the Moroccan countryside. You’ve got to take the attitude that the journey is part of the whole experience rather than the Sahara destination. The Atlas Mountains with snow are beautiful. Be prepared for expensive lunches and extras as you are a captive audience with little choice where to buy the extras that’s are not included. Always take sun cream, glasses and a scarf for head and face and it will save you money getting all the gear. Ait Ben haddou bit rushed. Would have liked maybe half hour extra to walk around by ourselves instead…”
